What and when are Clubnights?

Aylesbury Squash Club host weekly clubnights that takes place every Saturday evening from around 6pm that finish at 9pm. Our members can turn up at any time and stay for as long (or short) as they like. The Club provides all four courts during this time to ensure the most amount of games can be played and minimal waiting in between.

It’s open to all members of all standards whether you’re playing in League 3 or League 19 and it’s completely free! Most evenings have around 14-20 people attend so you’ll always find someone to have a hit with. Sometimes you’ll be able to get tips and advice from seasoned players to help you with your game depending on who turns up!

What happens at Clubnight?

Players initially meet on the steps outside of Court 1 and arrange games amoungst themselves. Whether it’s your first clubnight or you’ve been coming for years you’ll be welcomed and get paired with someone of similar ability.

Games are played best of 3, first to 15; although when the clubnights are exceptionally busy this sometimes is reduced to first to 11. As soon as a court becomes free the next two members that have been waiting the longest then play.

Juniors are welcome to attend but do require parental supervision (watching their games) at all times.

Afterwards many stay for a drink in the bar, a great opportunity to meet other members and get those friendlies in the diary.
